Missions
|
Hear my heart for missions, the burden Christ has given me, and my story of redemption. Hear God's amazing grace that was so freely poured out on me, despite my sin, rebellion, ignorance and arrogance that separated me for years. Thank you always to Jesus my creator, best friend, savior and perfect role model. All the days of my life I want to strive to be more like you and leader others to you. Praise your precious name.

Our Love Story!
Our Story- Sue Young, Isaiah and Leah Sarang (love)
Many say that the Lord works in mysterious ways. While this is found no where in scripture, this is most certainly often the case. When we look at the stories in the Old and New Testaments, we can see God doing the seemingly impossible, and working through people you would never imagine, such as Paul, Gideon, Moses and Peter, and often in ways which seem the most unlikely.
Our story starts with me- an atheist at the time- preaching at a church. I knew the Bible well enough to make my way through it, and also fool everyone else- I had been doing it for years as a minister's child. We met during this time and were soon married. Unfortunately, the lack of Christ in my life made my life and marriage impossible to manage. Just as soon as we married we were divorced and I would not find Christ for another 3 years. Yet, in this time he never let her out of my mind and heart.
On 5-16-2014 Christ came into my life and flipped me upside down! After 3 years of Preparation, he called me back to Korea for reunification and my wife became pregnant the first night I arrived. 2-17-18 exactly 9 months later our beautiful daughter Leah Sarang Perez was born, right in the middle of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, a very special occasion in the history of Korea and our family. After 3 years almost to the day of being reunited, the Lord answered my years of prayer and clearly showed me the next step to take: Mokpo, Korea!
